Déborah Sitbon Neuberg founded De Bonne Facture to create purposeful clothing made with transparency and sustainability in mind. The line showcases small ateliers, primarily throughout France, but additionally around a few other parts of Europe — each one specializing in the product they craft. The line is nostalgic, reverential towards well made and well-worn menswear classics, and leaning into a more casual aesthetic for their beautifully-tailored designs.
De Bonne Facture take sustainability extremely seriously, with a design philosophy that relies on five pillars — "garment durability, atelier traceability, fabric provenance, the ecological impact of our supply chain, and the preservation of industrial know-hows". Their garments are built to last, using high end materials that will improve with time as they wear in, developing unique character with time.
It is easy to see why it is call the Holiday shirt with its open collar and made from a crochet lace shirt. Inspired by the poolside ready shirts of the midcentury, De Bonne Facture's take is made from a subtle undyed cotton with a slouchy fit and straight hem.
Made from 100% cotton grown in the USA and woven with a dry touch by a specialist Italian mill. The shirt comes together with real horn buttons.
